Aria was everything my husband and I hoped for. Traveling to Sydney from NYC on our honeymoon, we hoped for a special evening and we got it. Being foodies in NY, we have been to our fair share of fine dining restaurants (Eleven Madison Park, Per Se, Del Posto, Babbitt, River Cafe etc.) and we would say Aria is right up there. We were, immediately, greeted by the hostesses, congratulated on our honeymoon, and brought to a fantastic table, which we requested one with a view. It would have been given if we were granted complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate, but that's okay. The sommelier gave us a great suggestion for a bottle of wine and we did the four course menu. Stand outs of the night were the mud crab for the first course and lobster French toast for the second course. The dessert was good too. If you are looking for fantastic service, a romantic ambiance, impeccable views and good food, come to Aria!

I really wanted to go here but I wasn't really allowed. I asked if I could have some wine while overlooking the view and I was told no. The restaurant was barely a 25% capacity. The hostess said that if I was only having drinks I had to go to the bar area which was this super dark room on the other side of the building. Really it made no sense to me I thought it was snooty and rude.

On Yelp, 5 stars means "WooHoo! As good as it gets!"...I would absolutely have to say that is accurate for this restaurant. My husband and I made dinner reservations for this place when we were on our honeymoon in Sydney, which, we were very lucky to get because the spots filled up super quick! We walked here since it was close to our hotel, but I'm pretty sure they do valet parking if you decide to drive. The views are incredible, we had a view of the Opera House and Harbor Bridge while we ate. The service was impeccable, multiple servers and very attentive to the guests, we never once had to ask for a refill or getting our dishes cleared from the table. The food was on point. Super fresh, appealing to the eye, and the presentation was exquisite. Oh, and their wine selection was great, as well! I will say though, dining here is somewhat expensive, but since we were celebrating our honeymoon, we didn't mind the price. You're paying for top quality food and presentation, the service of the highly trained staff, the atmosphere, and the views. Overall, wonderful dining experience!
