Big Tourist Attractions Australia

Attractions / March 6, 2017

TOURISTS love to splash photos of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and our “big” tourist attractions online, according to a list of the 20 most “Instagrammable” Aussie landmarks.

But what’s most surprising is only two Victorian favourites — The Twelve Apostles (6) and Puffing Billy (11) — made the list, probably because people are too busy enjoying themselves in our state to post on social media.

What other Victoria tourist spots deserve to make the list? Tell us below

The Sydney Opera House lobs in at third with 134, 600 hashtags, while Uluru and Manly Beach round out the top five.

New South Wales somehow boasts more than half of the top 20, while the “Big” family — which includes the Big Pineapple, Big Banana, Big Prawn, Big Merino, Big Lobster and Golden Guitar — managed 16, 320 hashtags between them.
