Every January Australians come together to celebrate their national day, reflecting on the nation's diversity and achievements, as well as its past and future. And, true to tradition, Australia Day 2018 will deliver plenty of lively events and great activities to participate in and enjoy.

Enjoy exciting spectacle and events around beautiful Sydney Harbour for Australia Day. Visit the lovely Barangaroo Reserve at 8am to see indigenous performers celebrate the world’s oldest living culture at the captivating Wugulora Morning Ceremony.
Hear some of the hottest tunes and musical tributes at the Australia Day Concert at the Sydney Opera House, featuring top talent. See Sydney’s First Fleet ferries, decked in colour, as they plough across the Harbour in the iconic Ferrython race, as well as the Tall Ships race at 1pm. You can also Head to The Rocks for markets and great live music, including New Orleans styled-tunes, indie folk and alt-country songs.
Darling Harbour also hosts an incredible harbourside party. Enjoy live music, food and drink and an evening of light, sound and exhilarating fireworks for the Australia Day Spectacular.
There are many exciting events happening around Sydney. Experience Australia Day in Parramatta with the spectacular Aerial hot air balloon display from 6am, and enjoy the Big Barbecue and popular Carnivale vintage car display. There are also plenty of kids’ activities and amusement rides, as well as a massive fireworks finale.
